To address this challenge, the industry is shifting towards sustainable honeybush farming, reducing the impact on wild harvesting.

The industry collaborates with local authorities in the Western and Eastern Cape to implement measures for controlling and protecting wild honeybush, thereby ensuring sustainable harvesting practices.
